#MACtion giveth and it taketh away.

We previewed 2 games for Tuesday night: Toledo vs. Ohio and Western Michigan vs. Eastern Michigan. Toledo covered easily as expected. In fact, we even perfectly nailed the spread in that game. The Western Michigan game looked good for us for a while, but WMU had some sloppy play in the fourth quarter that saw not only the cover slip away, but they ended up losing the game outright. Kudos to EMU for never giving up. Our model definitely overestimated WMU’s rushing defense against what hadn’t been a great EMU rushing offense.

We’re going back to the well here again tonight since we’re gluttons for punishment: Central Michigan vs. Ball State
